Noodle Kugel

Yield: 12 servings


  • ½ c butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked


  • ¼ c sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ c slivered almonds (optional)


Cream the butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy.
Mix in the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Add the lemon juice and salt, and beat until smooth.
Mix the cooked noodles with the sauce, and put into a 9x13" buttered dish.
Sprinkle with the topping, and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
